MA Service’s qualified staff have technicians with over 10 years’ experience who are able to complete preventative and corrective maintenance on all types of rolling stock. They use monitoring systems that are updated to the latest safety and user-friendly standards.

We estimate that within Italy about 900,000 people choose to travel by train every day. There is a clear necessity that train travel continually meets reliability and safety expectations, and we achieve this thanks to:

CERTIFICATIONS

MA Service holds the following certificates:

- DNV – Business Assurance Management Systems Certificate in accordance with ISO 9001: 2008.

 - Repair and maintenance services of rolling stock (Railroad). ISO 14001:2014

- Competency Management Systems certified by an Independent ISARail Security Assessor in accordance with Italian National Agency for Rail Safety Decree 4/2012.

- British Standard OHSAS 18001: 2007 for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and for the installation and maintenance of stationary refrigeration, air conditioning and fire protection Technical Regulations ACCREDIA RT29 - (EC) 303/304 2008.

- Certificate of Recognition Capacity of SNCF for intervention on the VSOE

The Quality Control System developed and implemented by MA Service is a hybrid of correlated and integrated elements that work in harmony to fulfil our quality policy and related objectives. The main factors taken into consideration are:

-  Knowledge management.

Through adherence to resolute working procedures and monitoring, MA Service exactly applies its Quality Control System to all activities that influence the quality of services provided. QC involves all phases in the production cycle, not just those upstream. It starts with the identification of market and client needs and ends with results that provide total client satisfaction.

MA Service is in harmony with the most modern company management models and terms established in the norm of reference. The company has based is governance principles on the Deming model (Plan, Do, Check, Act). An approach that provides objective data via which a continuous improvement programme becomes systematic.

All staff who perform rail vehicle maintenance tasks for safety bodies are in possession of a special permit issued in accordance to standards defined by the Italian National Agency for Rail Safety (ANSF) Decree 4/2012. The decree, which was issued on 09/08/2012, covers “rail safety matters” and “norms for the qualification of personnel working with rail safety activity”. The decree puts into practice European Directives regarding rail safety on a national level.

MA Service has its own Competence Management System, which was certified by a V.I.S (Independent Safety Assessor). Certification guarantees that the terms established in the above-mentioned decree and Organisational Standards for Safety Certification (COCS) N° 20.4/DT passed on 06/08/2013 are enforced. The later covers, “awarding vehicle maintenance to third parties and safety bodies”.

Moreover, in light of applicable legislation, our company is equipped with a Management System for occupational health and safety in the workplace to obtain reliable performance, minimise risks in each phase of works and keep coherent with our policies and rigid performance objectives.

To this purpose MA Service has developed its own management system in line with the terms demanded by norm OHSAS 18001: 2007.
